A visit to The Kona Coffee Living History Farm is like taking a step back in time. Built in the 1920s, the original home of the Uchida family (an immigrant family from Japan and three succeeding generations) tells a story of a simple life and of hard work. It is the only living history coffee farm in the United States. The Living History Farm gives visitors an opportunity to experience history brought to life by costumed interpreters who demonstrate traditional crafts, agricultural activities, and what were at one time everyday tasks. It’s a must-see for visitors and locals.
